Students will examine psychopathology principles, professional
literature, and current issues associated with assessing and treating
mental disorders. Students will critically evaluate diagnostic models,
methods, and approaches used in diagnosing and treating individuals and
groups. Students will also explore the current DSM classifications and
diagnostic issues associated with diverse populations.
