Next week, UWS will join hundreds of other institutions and organizations around the country in recognizing National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) to celebrate and bring attention to our online School of Graduate Studies students, faculty and alumni.
UWS is hosting a series of events that all UWS community members can participate in, no matter your location!
- Join the UWS Virtual 5K! Join UWS faculty, staff, students and alumni in running a 5K in your own neighborhood sometime between November 4 – 8. Wear your UWS running bib* and post a picture on UWS social media*.
- Enter one or both of our prize drawings to win UWS gear sent directly to your home! Check out the virtual library scavenger hunt and the Switchboard contest on the UWS website to participate.
- Keep your eyes open for webCampus announcements throughout the week to learn fun facts about our distance learning tools, including Moodle, Panopto and Zoom.
- Faculty can peruse our online teaching articles we’ve curated just for them.
